​My name is Samantha Kercher. I'm a 14-year old student from Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. My whole life runs on four wheels and a giant battery; I'm in an electric wheelchair. Though this causes some challenges in my life, I know that just like any other human being, I can do anything that I set my mind to. Obstacles get in my way every single day of my life, but if I didn't continually push past each one, I wouldn't be as emotionally strong as I am today! Telling myself this has caused me to try things that I wouldn't have otherwise tried -- such as photography. I've never felt such a strong passion for anything in my entire life. I feel as if photography flows through every vein (no matter how small) in my body -- fueling my creativity! Ever since I started this "hobby", I've followed a quote that never fails to put a smile on my face:

My main goal for myself is to become a great, well-known photographer. This, however, is totally irrelevant to my mission for my clients. While this mission includes good quality photos to enjoy for a lifetime, it also includes teaching them that no matter what challenges come their way, everything is possible as long as they believe in themselves!
